The poll suggests that Labour has won 405 seats, the Conservative Party has won 230 seats, the Scottish National Party has won 50 seats, the Liberal Democrats have won 15 seats, and the Green Party has won 10 seats.

This would give Labour a majority of 150 seats in the House of Commons, which would be the party's largest majority since 1997.

The result would represent a significant defeat for the Conservative Party, which has been in power since 2010.

It would also be a personal triumph for Keir Starmer, who has led Labour since 2020.

The exit poll is based on a sample of 20,000 voters and has a margin of error of +/- 2.5%.
