New York Knicks Survive Game 6 Thriller, Advance to Second Round

Knicks Outlast Pacers in Overtime

Indiana Rallies from 19 Points Down to Force Extra Session

The New York Knicks survived a furious rally by the Indiana Pacers to win Game 6 of their Eastern Conference first-round playoff series 116-115 in overtime on Thursday night. The Knicks advance to the second round, where they will face the No. 2 seed Miami Heat.

The Knicks led by 19 points in the third quarter, but the Pacers battled back to tie the game with just over two minutes remaining in regulation. Indiana had a chance to win the game in the final seconds, but Caris LeVert's potential game-winning shot was blocked by Julius Randle.

In overtime, the Knicks took control of the game and never trailed. RJ Barrett hit a key three-pointer with less than two minutes remaining to give the Knicks a 114-110 lead. The Pacers had a chance to tie the game again, but Malcolm Brogdon's three-point attempt rimmed out.

Randle led the Knicks with 30 points and 16 rebounds, while Barrett added 26 points. LeVert led the Pacers with 30 points, while Brogdon added 28 points.

The Knicks will open their second-round series against the Heat on Saturday night in Miami.
