Darius Morris, a former point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, has passed away at the age of 33, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Morris was selected by the Lakers with the No. 41 overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. He played his first two NBA seasons with the Lakers before spending time with the Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, and New Orleans Pelicans.
Morris averaged 3.3 points, 1.0 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game during his NBA career.
No cause of death has been released at this time.
