Timescale Details Unveiled by Chief Stephen Bettis
Sheffield United has secured a site for its new training centre, the club has confirmed. The HSBC Sports and Social Club in Shirecliffe will provide a dedicated facility for the first team, academy, and Sheffield United Women.
The agreement marks a significant milestone in the Blades' long-awaited plans for a new training complex. The timescale for the project has also been confirmed by club chief Stephen Bettis.
The Randox Health Academy, Sheffield United's current training ground, is expected to remain in use until the new facility is complete. The move to the new training centre will provide the club with state-of-the-art facilities, including a full-size indoor pitch, outdoor pitches, a gym, medical facilities, and offices.
The new training ground is part of Sheffield United's wider commitment to investing in its infrastructure and providing its players and staff with the best possible environment to train and develop. The club is excited about the future and looks forward to the benefits the new training centre will bring.
